Athletic Refreshments

Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m | Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This area is where the athletes get their refreshments. Covered. Keep fruit cut/clean and drinks cold.

Awards

Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This area is shaded and located north of the pier next to the main stage. Hand out awards (medallions).

Duck Race

Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. | Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This area is shaded on the south side of the pier. You sell ducks. Final duck race is on Sunday at 3pm.

Finish Line

Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Area is in the sun, at the waters edge coordinating the start and finish of all events, crowd control and logistics of events.

Food Court

Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. | Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This area is coordinated by the Fisherman’s Restaurant. We assist in food distribution. Shaded area. Fast paced and fun. Saturday night 4pm to 7pm is a BBQ where we assist.

Logistics

Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. | Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Set up of the event (booths, sign/banners, stage, etc) Should be physical and enjoy working in the sun. Some crowd control during the day. Preferred 6-8 hour shifts. Sunday is take-down starting at 3pm.

Product Sales (T-Shirts)

Saturday & Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Area is shaded. Busy area. Location at base of pier. Early morning shift requires ability to lift boxes. During the shift sort product, running errands, restocking inventory and selling product. Request they wear their free tee shirt while they work.

Registration

Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Area is located at the picnic shelter north of the pier. You are responsible for registration of athletes, collecting registration fees, marking participants and distributing goodie bags. Busy area, but lots of fun.

Results

Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Volunteers work in conjunction with our electronic timing division to create a manual back-up of the athletes' race #s as they cross the finish line.  As with any Finish Line, this area is action-packed & fast-paced. Volunteers are positioned on the finish line, which is on the beach, in the sand, and sometimes at the water's edge.

Volunteer Check-In Booth

Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All volunteers check-in at the volunteer booth located adjacent to the picnic shelter on the north side of the pier. Each volunteer receives one coupon for a tee-shirt (limit one for the weekend, even if they work both days.) Logistics & Finish Line receive a special colored tee shirt.

Youth Pavillion

Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Area is located on the south side of the pier. Some shade. Crafts activities, races and face painting for children.
